8.26.20 (My Humboldt Message): 25Live Room Reservations for Fall 2020

Due to the pandemic, building access has been restricted to protect the health and safety of the campus community and allow for proper physical distancing. As a result, the criteria and process for reserving rooms on 25Live has changed.

Please note that campus is closed to the general public and that the use of campus facilities by any off-campus groups will not be permitted. Additionally, campus community meetings and gatherings (including small departmental meetings) of any kind will not be permitted. The campus Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is overseeing all reservations and campus activities, and has the authority to make exceptions.

The criteria for making a reservation in the fall will be limited to the following priorities:

  • Monday - Friday, during the building hours indicated for that space on 25Live, ONLY. (No weekend activity. Reservations can be made but meetings cannot start until face-to-face instruction begins on Tuesday, Sept. 8.)
  • Spaces supporting face-to-face instruction
  • Spaces supporting the delivery of virtual instruction
  • Research continuity
  • First responder training

Fall reservations other than those that fit the criteria above will be cancelled. Spring reservations entered into 25Live will stay as is until more information is available.

To request a space:

  • Prior to entering the reservation into 25Live, all reservations must have the written approval in advance by the requesting department, the requesting dean, or Major Budget Unit (MBU) lead. The  Academic Scheduler will review reservations for instructional spaces.
  • Reservations must be made at least 7 business days in advance, to allow for review, discussion, Environmental Health & Safety review and any cleaning scheduling needed with Facilities Maintenance.
